FocusPod / Romania
Installation and site access
Allow additional room for door swing, assembly, ventilation and servicing. Base dimensions alone do not establish accessibility or a suitable installation location.
Walk the route inside
Measure the loading area, doors, corridors, turns and goods lift as well as the final room. Record lift dimensions and load limits, stairs, access bookings and building-management requirements. Photos and a floor plan help us understand the site.
How your pod arrives
See how your pod arrives in sections and is assembled at your workplace.
Watch video11 secondsMake room around the pod
Review floor suitability and loading, door swing, assembly space, ventilation, servicing access and power. Product dimensions describe the pod itself, not every clearance around it. Have your facilities team review the intended position before approval. Every FocusPod model has built-in wheels and adjustable levelling feet. Raise the feet to move the pod on its wheels, then lower and adjust them to level the pod in its new position.
Choose the right installation arrangement
Request installation with your project, or tell us that you plan to appoint your own contractor. Coverage, scheduling, handling and the precise scope are confirmed for the address. The requested installation price is confirmed in the complete quotation after the site review; no unconfirmed fixed amount is added to the displayed pod and option subtotal.
Power and optional cooling
Confirm the electrical specification for your workplace in the approved configuration. The final electrical schedule covers the pod and selected equipment. Confirm the selected cooling equipment, any additional height and its electrical requirements against the final model specification. Building electrical work needs an appropriately qualified professional.
Access and receiving arrangements
Provide the full delivery address, postcode, receiving floor and contact. Describe unloading access, door and corridor sizes, and any goods lift. Your complete quote confirms the delivery and installation scope and schedule.
Ready for the workday
Check the agreed furniture and extras, door operation, lighting, ventilation and controls with your installer. Retain the final specification and assembly information. Report missing items or anything that does not work as expected before completing the handover.
Fire safety & building requirements
Sprinkler and fire-alarm options are available. We help you confirm the details for your pod and workplace.
Can you include sprinklers and fire alarms?
Choose the optional sprinkler and fire-alarm package in the configurator. Your selection is recorded with your project. Equipment, connections to building systems, installation scope and price are confirmed in your complete quote before payment. Selecting this option does not by itself include a complete installed system.
What should I know about fire ratings?
Fire information is specific to the model and materials. A material fire classification does not establish a fire-resistance rating for the complete pod. Ask us to confirm the relevant test documentation for your chosen model and finishes.
An acoustic “Class A” rating describes sound reduction, not fire performance.
What should we check before ordering?
Start with your building manager: they may have requirements for introducing a pod into your workplace. Share those requirements and your installation address with us so we can confirm the appropriate equipment and connections with your building team. Local fire requirements still apply; the package is not a blanket requirement for every pod.
